Self Cleaning Filter with Rotation Function

A filter is an indispensable device on the conveying medium pipeline. The installation position is generally the inlet end of a pressure reducing valve, relief valve, constant water level valve, or other equipment. Its purpose is to eliminate impurities in the medium and protect the normal use of valves and equipment.

When the fluid enters the filter screen, impurities remain inside. The clean filtrate flows out from the outlet position.

The cleaning process is relatively cumbersome. Manual disassembly of filter elements is required. After processing, it is necessary to manually place the filter element back inside the filter. Therefore, maintenance requires manual involvement.

The self-cleaning filter solves the above problems, and the filtering and self-cleaning processes are fully automated. It can more efficiently remove suspended and particulate matter from water bodies, and reduce turbidity. Thus purifying water quality and reducing the generation of system dirt, bacteria, algae, rust, etc.

However, conventional self-cleaning filters often use a single filter screen. The single structure and small filtration area result in poor filtration efficiency. Often requiring external power consumption and a supply of mid-range clean water, the cleaning time is long and the cleaning effect is not good.

For this purpose, we have developed a new type of water treatment self-cleaning filter with rotation function.

Filter structure

  • Barrel body self cleaning screen, hydraulic piston, suction nozzle, hydraulic motor, baffle, suction pipe, and outlet elbow.
  • There are inlet, outlet, and sewage outlets on the cylinder body.
  • There is a self cleaning screen located on the inner wall of the cylinder. And closely against the inner wall of the cylinder.
  • The lower side of the sewage outlet has a baffle inside the cylinder and is close to it.
  • There is a hydraulic motor above the baffle. The suction pipe passes through the center of the baffle and is connected to the hydraulic motor.
  • The other end of the suction pipe is located below the cylinder body and close to the water inlet.
  • The hydraulic piston passes through the top of the cylinder and is fixedly connected to the hydraulic motor.
  • The water outlet elbow is installed on the hydraulic motor and connected to the suction pipe.
  • Each suction nozzle is installed vertically between the suction pipe.
  • The angle between the outlet pipes is 120 degrees.

Beneficial effects

  • During the self cleaning and sewage discharge process, do not interrupt the supply of clean water. At the same time, during the backwashing process, it completely relies on the water pressure inside the system pipeline. No external power consumption.
  • Short self-cleaning time and high cleaning efficiency.
  • The filtering medium has undergone two stages of filtration: coarse filtration and fine filtration. Combined with the large filtering area of the filter, the filtering effect of this filter is very good.
