The production of acetylene by the calcium carbide method mainly adopts the wet acetylene process, that is, a large piece of calcium carbide is poured into a generator containing water, and the temperature rise of the water is used to remove the reaction heat.
Therefore, the reaction process needs to consume a lot of water and produce a large amount of calcium carbide mortar that needs to be processed. The treatment of calcium carbide mortar requires a large one-time investment cost and long-term operation and maintenance costs.
In addition, with the continuous strengthening of environmental protection requirements, the environmental pollution caused by wet acetylene has been paid more and more attention by the state and manufacturers, and some manufacturers have begun to adopt the dry acetylene process.
The advanced dry-process acetylene generator has no three wastes discharge, mainly no sewage discharge. This is because all the sewage can be reused in the generator during the gas-phase washing process, but there will be some large solid impurities in the recycling process.
Conventional filters are quickly clogged due to the fine particles in the calcium carbide slag adhering to the filter screen. Therefore, there is an urgent need for a filter that can filter large particles and allow fine particles to pass through.
The BLU-ZQX-25 series of products provide a self-cleaning wedge wire filter used in the slag water reuse pipeline of the dry-process acetylene generator. The filter element can filter large particles and allow fine particles to pass.
