The role of the amine liquid self-cleaning filter: It is a high-efficiency filtration equipment that filters and cleans the pollutants present in the desulfurization amine solution in chemical processes such as petroleum, natural gas, coal chemical industry, and synthetic ammonia.

The conventional filter screen is a wedge wire screen with a filtration accuracy of 25µ. This filter can efficiently filter out solid particles present in the amine liquid system. In this process, the filter screen can be self-cleaning. In the subsequent filtration process, there will also be a depth filter bed that combines capacity activated carbon with porous active filter material, and a bag filter with a filtration accuracy of 5µm.

HydroRed-LW self cleaning duplex strain uses a high-precision self cleaning screen as the core filter element. The raw ammonia water passes through the gaps in the filter screen under pressure. When ammonia water with high oil content passes through, many gaps of the same size and even distribution separate the oil and ammonia water. The oil removal rate can reach 80-95%, depending on the actual situation.

Why use HydroRed-LW Filter?  

The power plant denitrification system mainly includes evaporators, pipelines, valves (regulating gates, valve cores), flame arresters, flow meters and other equipment. Impurities and scale will inevitably appear in these equipment, which will affect the normal operation of the entire system over time. To address this problem, we developed the HydroRed-LW model self-cleaning duplex strainer.
HydroRed-LW can effectively reduce the iron powder content and solid impurity content in ammonia gas. Purify raw materials, improve ammonia oxidation rate, improve quality and output.

Product structure:  

  • Filter housing. There is a stainless steel self-cleaning screen inside the filter housing.
  • There are amine liquid inlet pipelines and amine liquid outlet pipelines on the Filter housing.  
  • There is a reserved hole in the middle of the upper-end cover and a reserved sewage outlet at the lower end of the filter.  
  • In and out. The filter element has a large dirt-holding capacity and will not pollute the filter, reducing the trouble of sewage discharge.  

Working principle  

  • There is a connecting pipe between the amine liquid tank and the filter, and the liquid flows in from the inlet main pipe.
  • There are inlet pipes and inlet valves on the side wall of the filter.
  • Inside the filter is a high-precision screen and nitrogen pipeline.  
  • The nitrogen access pipeline is connected to the nitrogen storage tank through the pump valve structure.  
  • There is a pressure gauge at the front of the screen.  
  • The liquid passes through the outer surface of the filter element from outside to inside, flows to the outlet of each filter unit, collects into the outlet main pipe, and then flows out. 
  • During use, amine liquid is injected into the filter. Particulate impurities cannot pass through the outer surface of the filter element and accumulate to form a filter cake.
  • When the pressure in front of the screen reaches a certain level, close the filter inlet valve.
  • Use nitrogen to punch the filter, and send the clean amine liquid inside the filter to the amine liquid tank to achieve filtration.  
  • When the filtration pressure difference gradually increases and reaches the preset value (usually 1.5bar) or the cleaning time period expires, the valve on the pipeline of the filtration unit is opened for backwashing.

Applications in power plants. Many power plants use ammonia as the reducing agent, and there are filters and evaporators at the outlet of the ammonia pump in the denitrification system. However, the filter and evaporator may be clogged by impurities and scale in the ammonia water during operation.
The original filter at the outlet of the ammonia pump cannot filter the ammonia water in the ammonia tank. Therefore, regular cleaning is very important. This virtually increases the waste of ammonia and manpower. To ensure that the ammonia water from the discharge pipe to the denitration system can be kept clean to the greatest extent. To reduce the number of cleanings of the ammonia tank, you can use a self-cleaning filter.

Features
